Single sign on (SSO) is an authentication method allowing users to securely log in to multiple, connected applications and services using only one set of credentials (username and password). Why am I being given a Metconnect account? To enable single sign-on (SSO) so you can access Sorted using your Metconnect credentials and manage certain account settings in one place. When will my Metconnect account be created? In late February - you’ll receive a verification email once it’s ready. How will I know when my Metconnect account is ready? You’ll get an email from metconnectadmin@metcash.com (mailto:metconnectadmin@metcash.com)asking you to verify your account. What do I need to do when I receive the verification email? Open the email, follow the secure link, and complete verification, including setting your password. What happens if I don’t verify my Metconnect account? You won’t be set up for SSO. Please verify to ensure seamless access once SSO is live. What if I don’t receive the verification email? First, check your spam/junk folder. If it’s not in there, please contact Supplier Support if it still does not arrive What if multiple team members share one Sorted login – will they each get a Metconnect account? Any active account that exists in Sorted will have a Metconnect account created if one does not exist. We strongly encourage every user to have their own individual account.
